Pictures

As I look upon my wall
Pictures long and tall
Stare back at me
And as I look into the eyes
I see
The happiness and love
That flies so free

The world around
Seems to be bound
And smiles so bright
As I grip the picture tight
And a gaze so soft
That it couldn't be seen aloft
And as life flies
Up into the clear blue skies

As I look upon my wall
Pictures long and tall
Stare back into my own
As I stare onto the past
To where my life has gone to so fast
I see my dad and me
When I was a little older than three
